How Cane Straws are Made
Our Cane Straws are produced in Ukraine where they have great conditions for growing cane naturally. But there is always a problem of surplus after harvesting with the cane stems being agricultural by-products that are usually treated as waste.
Our Cane Straws come from 100% plant-based materials and are the solution when you want to substitute harmful single-use plastic straws with a green item. The straws are made of cane stems only so they decompose naturally and do not stay at the landfills. The Straws are genuinely eco-friendly as we use raw material from renewable resources and used recycled packaging to deliver them that can be recycled again.

Ethically sourced & produced
Our Cane Straws are sourced from small local farmers in Ukraine who get an additional income for their harvest crops and provides work in rural communities.
After the reed is harvested and transported to the manufacturing facility, the stems are thoroughly checked with only the best stems exclusively used for our Cane Straws. The result is a premium natural straw characterised by the highest standards.
Minimal processing
Our Cane Straws are completely natural, unlike paper and bio-plastic straws that have been pulverised with chemicals. The reed stems are cut to length after harvesting, cleaned thoroughly with sterile water to eliminate dirt and bacteria, and then dried and sterilised using a commercial, food-grade drying machine. Chemicals are never used or added to the process. The end product is a natural sustainable straw.
